About
One of his favorite quotes is, “the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second-best time is now.” Combining a holistic perspective on building construction with a desire to leave the world better than he found it, Robert is an enthusiastic member of the sustainable design community!
Robert is a Building Performance Analyst at enviENERGY Studio. He has experience in various construction industries, from utilities and municipalities to life-science GMPs. His work at enviENERGY Studio has ranged from energy modeling, whole-building life cycle assessment, decarbonization of existing buildings, and LEED and Passive House project management.
He has recently performed research utilizing iterative energy modeling in a residential affordable housing renovation to balance operational and embodied carbon emissions associated with the proposed design. He also participated in a case study evaluating the feasibility of an office-to-residential building on a historic site in downtown Boston.
He is also an active member of Built Environment Plus's Living Future Community, where they ponder the connections of the built environment with the natural world!
