As National Sustainable Design Leader at HED, Daniel directs a team of 8 promoting high-performance design on hundreds of projects across the 400-person firm focusing on innovation, design technology and integration of sustainable design strategies. In this role he and his group steer firm policies, develop process standards, curate continuing education programs, update sustainable design standards in firm specifications, and represent the firm in national peer organizations.
Prior to being promoted to National Sustainable Design leader, Daniel led a production as a Senior Project Architect leveraging almost 20 years of experience. His direct knowledge of the practice greatly informs his efficacy as a sustainable design leader.
