About

My mission is to create a built environment – addressing both new and existing buildings – that fosters the wellbeing of occupants while reducing the burden on material resources and the global climate.

I lead the Sustainability & Resilience team in Thornton Tomasetti’s Boston office. I am a building scientist and consultant with over 15 years of experience in industry and academia. I work with architects, engineers, owners, and stakeholders to develop ambitious sustainability goals and integrated design strategies to create buildings that foster the health of occupants while reducing their burden on the planet. My aim is to combine rigorous technical analysis with holistic sustainable thinking to address topics like decarbonization, embodied carbon, healthy materials, daylight and visual comfort, resiliency and climate equity. I consult on building projects across sectors, including higher education, K-12 schools, cultural, civic, commercial, life sciences, and multifamily residential. I hold a Ph.D. from MIT where I studied the impact of daylight and views on the financial value of buildings.
