About
I am dedicated to actively changing how the construction industry impacts the health of our planet. We cannot rely solely on architects and engineers to lead the industry in sustainable practices. As contractors it is important we become active participants in this process as well.
Mary Elizabeth joined Turner Construction in 2007, first working in New York before moving to the Boston area in 2012. Beginning her career as an architect, M.E. received her Master of Architecture from the University of Texas in 2001 and became a licensed architect in 2014. While she enjoys being part of the design community, she realized early in her career that she prefers being on the job site making the design vision a reality. Since moving to Boston, M.E. has worked on several projects for Harvard and MIT and most recently was part of the team building the Thayer C.E.S.C at Dartmouth College which received LEED Platinum Certification. She has recently joined Turner Boston's sustainability group as a Champion for Sustainable Building Materials. In this role, she looks forward to advancing how contractors can bring sustainable ideas to the table. M.E. lives in Arlington and when she is not working can be found at the beach or traveling with her husband and two sons
