About
I am an architect, educator, and sustainability consultant based in Boston, Massachusetts. I am passionate about sustainability, resiliency, energy policy, and climate change adaptation and mitigation in the support of cost-effective, durable, and beautiful placemaking and design.
Rebecca Rahmlow, AIA is a sustainability consultant in Thornton Tomasetti's Boston, Massachusetts office. Rebecca has worked as a registered architect and part time educator in Boston for the past 16 years. She has worked at both large and small firms including Shepley Bulfinch, Architerra, Inc., Maryann Thompson Architects, Centerbrook Architects and Planners, LLC. and most recently Touloukian Touloukian Inc. as a Project Architect, Project Manager, and Sustainability Lead. She is a LEED AP BD+C, ENV SP, and CPHC as well as a registered architect in Massachusetts. In addition to sustainability she is passionate about the history of architecture and adaptive reuse. She has a B-Arch from Carnegie Mellon University, a SMArchS degree from MIT, and a certificate in healthier materials from Parsons School of Design.
