About
As an energy engineer, I’m passionate about continuously learning and growing while working with sustainable design and HVAC systems for commercial, labs, and life-science projects.
Tammy Ngo, PE, WELL AP, CPHC is an Energy Designer at BR+A. She has experience in energy modeling and HVAC design, focusing on lab and commercial projects, code and LEED compliance. She has been a member of the Content Committee for the annual Building Energy Boston conference since 2022. She’s also a leadership committee member for the Emerging Professionals & Women in Green Communities at Built Environment Plus.
At Northeastern University, she earned her Master’s in Sustainable Building Systems while working on campus for the Department of Planning, Real Estate and Facilities (PREF) and assisting different research projects. She studied various topics, including the impacts of the MA Building Energy Code on PREF, equity, diversity, and sustainability in design and construction, and the life cycle assessment of building acoustic materials.
Before her M.S., she was a mechanical HVAC engineer working on life-science projects in California and had a mechanical engineering degree from UCLA
