About
Village Grove is the proposed development of a highly energy efficient 40 unit affordable multifamily rental building in Trumansburg, NY to be developed by Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services (INHS). The project is targeting PHIUS+ 2018 Certification and has received a $932,280 Building of Excellence award for low carbon construction. The project features all electric systems including geothermal heat pumps for heating, cooling, and hot water systems, advanced insulation to meet PHIUS+ 2018, and off site solar production to achieve Net-Zero energy. SCI will also serve as the PHIUS+ CPHC and Verifier to confirm all program requirements are met through construction and will conduct training on high-performance building practices.
