About
I believe the future goes beyond sustainability—it's about embracing regenerative design to create systems that actively restore and enhance our world, ensuring a resilient, equitable, and decarbonized legacy for generations to come.
Joëlle Jahn is the New England Leader of JB&B’s Deep Carbon Reduction Group based in the Boston office. With expertise in organizing and managing data, she helps clients achieve net-zero energy and carbon goals.
Her work spans master planning, higher education, science and technology, multifamily residential, and cultural projects. She has led sustainability permitting for over 20 million square feet in Boston and Cambridge, including decarbonization studies, envelope analysis, electrification strategies, and certifications like WELL, LEED, and Passive House.
Joëlle advises on Boston’s Zero Net Carbon Zoning Code, co-chairs Built Environment Plus’s Carbon & Energy Roundtable, and is published by IBPSA on passive strategies for climate-responsive design.
